Our students recently enjoyed an inspiring visit to Guttridge, where they were given an insight into the world of modern manufacturing. After learning about the company, its products and apprenticeship opportunities, students toured the facility wearing PPE and explored a range of manufacturing processes and specialist equipment. Through interactive activities, including examining machine components, handling different materials, using design software and taking part in an information hunt, students gained valuable hands-on experience of the work place.
