Teacher of ICT & Computer Science

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard-working teacher to join our ICT/Computing department.  This post is suitable for an experienced or newly qualified teacher wishing to join a team of specialists who ensure a high standard of teaching, learning and achievement.   

At KS3 pupils follow a specially designed course which introduces students to a range of ICT and computing skills. In KS4 students study Cambridge Nationals in Creative iMedia and also have the option to study Computer Science.  Post 16 courses include L3 Cambridge Technicals in IT, CISCO and Creative Media Production.

Interested candidates will have:

  • QTS
  • the ability to teach IT to KS3/ KS4 /KS5
  • the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons
  • the ability to motivate and achieve excellent results
  • excellent organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • the ability to form positive working relationships with staff and pupils

University Academy Holbeach is an oversubscribed school in a rural location and serves the local community and the surrounding villages.  The school site has recently been redeveloped and enjoys state of the art facilities including teaching walls.  

The school was rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted (January 2019).
