Christmas Concert

This year has certainly been a challenging one for people in the Creative Industries. In school, this has been mirrored with restrictions on what we can do, where we can rehearse and what equipment is available. However, Music has always been a very important part of the culture at University Academy Holbeach and I was determined that we would not let Covid-19 stop pupils at this school accessing a broad range of musical activities. We have had 10 different ensembles meeting every week in their different year pods and pupils have been able to learn new pieces and try out different instruments every week. The school’s annual Christmas Concert is a notable date in many people’s calendars and, although 2020’s concert is very different, I hope you will enjoy our seasonal offerings. I am immensely proud of all of the pupils who have performed and I hope you all enjoy the performances as much as I know they enjoyed filming them! May I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy, and hopefully, more normal New Year!
