University Academy Holbeach Presentation Evening 2023 took place on Tuesday 19 December. We proudly presented certificates and special prizes to our pupils and this was another fantastic opportunity to celebrate their success in a truly vast array of areas. Our guest speaker – Jade Etherington , shared words of wisdom with our pupils, parents and staff alike – we would like to thank Jade for attending this event and hope to see her again in the future.
The Electrical department at UAH are proud to announce we have achieved the status of ECA Education Associate.
ECA is the UK’s leading trade association that represents and supports the interests of businesses and organisations involved in electrotechnical and engineering services design, installation, inspection, testing, maintenance and monitoring across the United Kingdom.
It is hoped this association will provide mutually beneficial opportunities for us to engage
with ECA on all aspects of the electrotechnical industry and help, teachers, assessors and students to be aware of the latest industry developments, best practice and standards.
Today, our Electrical and Plumbing students visited the Grand Designs Show in Birmingham where they experienced innovative technology within the Building Services and Construction industry. Having covered some aspects of modular buildings and how the Building Services industry can affect the UK economy in the classroom it was good to see some real-life examples and talk to industry experts.
The students took advantage of the green living zone to experience some of the innovative ways the UK and beyond are trying to achieve a high level of sustainability and experienced the live construction of the 'House of Grand Ideas'.
