UAH Finance Students Achieve Top Results
6th Form Finance students at University Academy Holbeach very proudly received special certificates of commendation for their outstanding results in The London Institute of Banking & Finance Level 3 qualifications. The Year 13 students: Ben Kelly, Sam Rousse, Jessica Gilman, James Steel and Danny Watts were excited to learn that they had also been awarded £500 scholarships towards a degree programme at the London Institute of Banking and Finance thanks to their achievements.
This accolade was based on exams taken in January and March, prior to lockdown. Dominic Vallier, from the awarding body, The London Institute of Banking & Finance, said: “It is a challenging time for schools and all working in education, and of course for the students. This makes the students’ success even more impressive. This is of course down to the staff at University Academy Holbeach, who deliver our financial education qualifications with real enthusiasm and passion.”
Students and parents have also been invited to a Prestige Event, held by The London Institute of Banking & Finance, which will take place at a later date. Principal of UAH Miss Sheila Paige is, “very proud of the students’ achievements and delighted with the opportunities their commitment to their studies has afforded them.”
