Who is this course for?
This course is aimed at applicants who are intending to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to enter the plumbing industry. At Level 2 this consists of a basic understanding

What will you learn?

Studying this course can open up opportunities to work within the construction sector. It allows candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in Bricklaying. It covers the following skills: Carrying out Bricklaying activities, Carrying out Cavity Walling activities, Contribute to Setting Out, and Building of Masonry Structures up to Damp Proof Course.

How long is this course?

This course is one year.

How will I be assessed for this course?

Students on this course will be assessed in both theory-based and practical assessments. Some elements of this course will also require students to complete and pass online examinations as part of the regulations for the qualification.

What are the entry requirements for this course?

It is desired that students have gained, or working towards, 5 GCSE's grades 2-9 including Maths and English.

Students must be aged 16-19 to study this course.

What can I go on to do after this course?

From this course, students can progress onto our Level 2 Bricklaying course, or progress onto a Level 2 apprenticeship in Bricklaying.
