Salary	-	£21,968 to £23,194 (pro rata)

There is an exciting opportunity for a committed individual to join our Design & Technology team at University Academy Holbeach.

Experience of working within educational background would be advantageous.

Hours of work – 32.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday), 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 training days)

The role of the Design & Technology Technician requires a high level of initiative in order to support the smooth running of the Design & Technology Department.

• Preparing materials and maintaining equipment and tools to ensure the teaching environment is kept to a high standard is essential.
• Working under the instruction of teaching/senior staff, usually in the Design & Technology Department, in order to help support access to learning for students and provide general support to the teacher in the management of students and the classroom.

Holbeach is located approximately 15 miles from Boston and is within easy reach of Spalding, Wisbech, Kings Lynn, Peterborough and Stamford.

The school was rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted (March 2019).
